When I first started this project I was very exited and over whelmed at the idea of goin to another country and settling into another culture and taking in the surroundings and photographing it.

When I got to Korea, I found the whole experience to be amazing. Although being in another country was amzing, it was a huge culture shock for me. Sometimes I felt that I shouldnt take pictures out of respect for the people around me, the longer I was the the more respect I had and the less I felt like a tourist.

When I got back to England I was egar to get all my films developed and printed. After I had work prints I had my first tutorial, which was to help me edit.

Once I had a decent edit my final images were down to 12 and i felt confident that I would get my images done ontime without a problem. When printing my images I came accross a few problems, from printing to paper being damaged and using more paper than I wanted or planned to use. Although these problems were pretty big at the time, I came past them and found soluteions. Without having these problems I dont think I would have learned as much as I have.

I have found the overall project to be challenging, but have enjoyed every minute of it.  Although stressfull at times and quite upsetting moments I beleive that the end results are worth it.

If I was to do this project again the only things that I would do differently would be to experiment with different toners, and possibly print my images even bigger than the size I have printed.

If  id have have time to get the negatives scanned I would have liked to have produced the images in a book. I am looking to do this alongside my next project.
